PURPOSE:To reduce high-frequency loss, by connecting a capacitor for cutting off DC component in series to a load. CONSTITUTION:With the 1st-2nd switching elements (Tr) Q1...Q2 connected to a DC power source E the power supply is ON and OFF. These Trs Q1-Q2 are alternately driven by a drive circuit 1. Between the junction of Tr Q1...Q2 and one of the terminals of the DC power source E a series circuit of a choke coil L1 and the 1st capacitor C1 is connected. In parallel to this 1st capacitor C1 a series circuit of the 2nd capacitor C2 for cutting off DC component and a load FL is connected. The current flowing in the capacitor C2 is thereby only the load current fairly less than that flowing through the main circuit. Consequently, the high-frequency loss of the capacitor C2 is so reduced that the heat emission can also be reduced. |
