<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the danger of electric shocks by insulating a vibrator from the outside via a protecting member when a vibration input member is removed. CONSTITUTION:An information input/output device performs the input of coordinates to an input tablet consisting of a vibration transmitting plate 8 via a vibration pen 3 and displays an input picture on a display device 11' put on the input tablet based on the input coordinate information. The vibrations received from the plate 8 via the pen 3 are detected by three vibration sensors 6 set at the corner parts. Then the transmitting time of those vibrations are measured for detection of the coordinates. The pen 3 contains a vibrator 4 and transmits the ultrasonic wave vibrations via a horn part 5 having a sharp tip. The worn horn 5 can be detached from a penholder 25 and replaced with new one. In this case, an insulated protecting member 27 is put between the vibrator 4 and a screw part 26 in order to avoid the direct touches of a user to the vibrator 4 or the inside and outside electrodes 21 and 23, etc.</p> |
