The crane comprises a vertical supporting column with a horizontal jib, on which a cab (3) is mounted, and also a travelling crab with hoist winch. The cab is secured to the jib via one or more springs (12), allowing its movement in relation to the jib. These can be designed with a rated spring constant in the vertical direction dependent on cab weight and expected wind pressure.
