PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a dust remover equipment as well as give an effect similar to a gate to the equipment by a method in which when screen bars set at a given interval in the crossing direction of waterway is turned in the crossing direction of the waterway, each edge of the bars is coupled with the other to form a cut-off wall. CONSTITUTION:A large number of screen bars 3 are rotatably set at a given interval to a frame 2 provided in a waterway 1 in the crossing direction of the waterway 1. Also, an operating lever 6 and a connecting lever 7, serving to turn each bar 3 concurrently in the crossing direction of the waterway 1, are provided. During the usual period, dust is arrested by the front edge of the bars 3, raked up by the rake 13 of a raking device 12, and discharged to the outside. During an emergent period when the interruption of water is needed, the bars 3 are concurrently turned 90 deg. from the usual state by the connecting lever 7 and the operating lever 6 and tiered parts 5 of the edges of the bars are couled to form a cut-off wall. |
