PURPOSE:To extremely reduce light leakage between adjacent channels and to obtain a high-sensitivity, high-performance multichannel detector at low cost by inserting partition plates up to the bottom parts of grooves which are formed in a scintillator part and a photoelectric converting element. CONSTITUTION:A scintillator thin plate 102 which has prescribed thickness is adhered and fixed on the photodetection surface of the multichannel photoelectric converting element 110 with an optically transparent adhesive 105, then the grooves where the partition plates 104 are inserted are formed in a semiconductor substrate 107 forming the multichannel type photoelectric converting element from the scintillator surface at center positions of blind sectors separating respective channels on the multichannel photoelectric converting element, and the partition plates 104 are inserted and fixed in those grooves. Consequently, the light leakage between adjacent channels is reduced extremely without being affected by the unevenness of the fluorescent output surface of a multichannel scintillator element body and a multichannel photoelectric converting element.
