PURPOSE:To make the capability of the cooling fan of a power source unit minimum and obtain a low-noise, small-sized and lightweight cooking utensil by mechanically separating a heating coil unit and the power source unit and electrically connecting a flexible cord. CONSTITUTION:A heating coil unit 15 provided with the top plate 31 made of a heat-resistant insulator and a power source 14 stored in an outer package are connected with a flexible cord 37. A heating coil 7 is provided on the unit 15, a display unit 38 which generates the induced voltage by the alternating magnetic field when an output is applied and is illuminated is provided. Electric components except the heating coil 7 are stored in the unit 14. A cooling fan 13 absorbing the cooling air through the bottom opening of the insulator outer package is provided and cools a transistor 10, a control unit 11 and a full-wave rectifier 3. No cooking container is mounted on the outer package, thereby it can be efficiently cooled, the cooling fan can be made minimum, and a low- noise, small-sized and lightweight cooking utensil is obtained. |
