DATA PROCESSING

摘要

PURPOSE: To prevent the loss of data by keeping a copy of a data structure affected by a discriminated transaction performed by one processing unit and updating this copy only at the time of committing the transaction. CONSTITUTION: Volatile data in a core is mapped in a virtual address space so that plural processors 10 can uniformly address this data, and a processor which controls the access to this data from an arbitrary processor is designated. When the transaction processor which performs the transaction which updates this data is permitted to access this data, the data is kept in the memory of a processor other than the transaction processor before update of the data. After the transaction is committed, the updated data is kept in memories of the transaction processor and another processor.
