<p>Method of making silver nitride as a crystallised powder of increased particle size comprises crystallisation from a soln. of the nitride in anhydrous pyridine or mixtures of pyridine and water contg. 30% water. The process avoids the risks of agglomeration of fine particles, and produces granules which are only slightly elongated and can be sieved without danger. The silver nitride is used as an explosive priming.</p> |
