The body (8) comprises three coupled-together sections (S1, S2, S3) each having a respective frame (1, 2, 3) of which the two outer frames are connected pivotably about a transverse axis to the middle frame (2) and can adopt an inclined position relative to the latter, in which position they form a backrest or a footrest. The frame (1) which forms the backrest and the middle frame (2) are the vertical and, respectively, the horizontal side of a four-bar linkage (4), the other, horizontal side (5) of which has means (6) for the removable attachment to the underframe (7). If the frame (1) forming the backrest is moved into its horizontal or vertical position, in the process the middle frame (2) and together with this the entire body (8) are moved upwards or downwards. <IMAGE>
