In the vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the invention, having resilient strips or lips fitted to the underside of the nozzle, the strip (5) consists of a fastening part (7) and a lip (8) which are connected to one another via a predetermined bending point (9), wherein a tilting-away of the lip (8) towards the suction opening (2) is to be prevented via limiting elements. The fastening part (7) is produced in one operation from hard material and the lip (8) from soft material by moulding or extrusion. The limiting elements used are stops (10) which are arranged on the bottom part (1) of the nozzle and lugs (11) which are integrally formed on one or both sides of the lip (8) in the region of the predetermined bending point (9). Strips and lips constructed in this way can be fitted to the bottom part of the nozzle in a simple manner and are abrasion-resistant and at the same time flexible. <IMAGE>
