PURPOSE:To minimize the reduction powdering of sintered ore and to secure excellent gas permeability by charging the ore highly resistant to reduction powdering into the peripheral part of the furnace and the ore lowly resistant to reduction powdering into the central part at the time of charging sintered ore into the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION:When sintered ore is charged into the blast furnace from its top, the sintered ore is grouped into the ore highly resistant to reduction powdering and the one lowly resistant to reduction powdering. The highly resistant ore is charged into the peripheral part of the furnace, and the lowly resistant ore is charged into the central part. As a result, the reduction powdering of the whole charged ore is reduced, and the reduction powdering amt. in the furnace is uniformized. Since the sintered ore lowly resistant to reduction powdering can be charged in a larger amt., by this method, the production cost of sintered ore is reduced. |
