发明名称 THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material excellent in stability of developed color images, by using at least one specified metallic salt compound as a color developer. CONSTITUTION:At least one metallic salt compound expressed by the general formula (1) is used as a color developer, in a thermal recording material utilizing a color forming reaction between a leuco dye and color developer for developing the dye into a color upon making contact therewith. If required, a phenolic compound may be jointly used as the color developer, and when an appropriate phenolic compound is selected and used jointly, an effect such as enhancement of image density can be obtained. At least one leuco dye is used either single or in combination. The leuco dye may be an arbitrary one of leuco dyes conventionally used for thermal recording materials. For example, a leuco compound of a dye based on triphenylmethane, fluoran, indolylphthalide or the like may be preferably used as the leuco dye. The thermal recording material comprising the metallic salt compound of the formula (1) as the color developer is excellent in stability of image areas, particularly, oil resistance and plasticizer resistance of the image areas.
