A rotationally symmetric bearing element (4) is fixed at the upper seat part and located at the lower seat part. A resetting element (13) is operated between the seat parts. A fixing arrangement (8) is provided outside of the bearing element and fixed at the lower seat part. The bearing element is partially positively surrounded by a part of the arrangement and/or the part of the fixing arrangement is clamped between the bearing element and the upper seat part. #CMT# : #/CMT# The resetting element is designed as resilient plate i.e. foam sheet. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Seat device for a chair. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The bearing element is fixed at the upper seat part and located at the lower seat part, and the fixing arrangement is provided outside of the bearing element and fixed at the lower seat part, so that the bearing element can not be linearly moved relative to the lower seat part, and a tilting or pivoting movement of the bearing element is only enabled, thus allowing pivoting of the upper seat part relative to the lower seat part.
