PURPOSE:To enable mixing processing of color photosensitive materials within the same processing bath by incorporating an org. preservative into a color developing bath for processing the color photosensitive material which contains substantially silver iodine without incorporating hydroxylamine therein at the time of subjecting specific two kinds of the color photosensitive materials to the mixed processing. CONSTITUTION:The org. preservative is incorporated into the color developing bath for processing at least the color photosensitive material B without incorporating the hydroxylamine therein in the method for processing the silver halide color photographic sensitive material A contg. a silver halide emulsion having >=3mol.% average silver iodide content and the silver halide color photographic sensitive material B having the silver halide emulsion layer which contains substantially no silver iodide in the color developing bath, then subjecting the materials to the mixed processing in the bath having bleachability in succession thereof. The mixed processing by eliminating the generation of defective desilvering and degradation of a cyan dye density in the color photosensitive material having >=3mol.% average silver iodide content is thereby enabled and the miniaturization and simplification of the automatic developing machine are attained. |
