PURPOSE:To obtain the subject paste product having excellent texture and flavor free from removal and drop of carrot added, by blending a raw material for paste product with small pieces of semidried carrot, molding and heating. CONSTITUTION:Small pieces of raw carrot are semidried into 30-50% water content and added to a raw material for paste product such as ground fish. The blend is optionally kneaded and then cooked under heating to give the subject paste product such as carrot-containing boiled fish paste. The small pieces of semidried carrot absorb water from parent materials around the small pieces in the processing process, expand and are stuck fast to the peripheral parent materials. Therefore, even if a completed product is cut by a kitchen knife or bitten off by the teeth, the small pieces of carrot in the completed product will not release and do not fall from the section. |
