摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a cryogenic container which prevents a leakage flux from spreading and produces no heat and is compact, by disposing oxide superconductor layers on external surfaces of heat radiation shields located on the peripheral side of a superconducting magnet in the cryogenic container. CONSTITUTION:On the outside of a container 11 receiving a superconducting magnet 10 which is operated at liquid helium temperature, a first cylinder 20 is disposed which comprises a member exhibiting a superconducting state at a higher temperature, and further on the outside thereof, a second cylinder 30 is disposed which comprises a member exhibiting a superconducting state at a higher temperature, like the first cylinder 30. And, the first and second cylinder 20, 30 are used as a magnetic shield as well as a heat radiation shield, by utilizing the fact of the member in a superconducting state having a magnetic shielding effect. Accordingly, a compact cryogenic container for a superconducting magnet can be provided in which there is a little amount of evaporation of liquid helium and a leakage flux is prevented from spreading.
