PURPOSE:To effectively utilize smell having wake-up or calm-down function and the like to a driver so as to improve safety and pleasantness for the driver in driving an automobile by selecting several kinds of smell storing parts, and supplying an aimed smell in the cabin. CONSTITUTION:Detection signals from a brake sensor 1, accelerator sensor 2, gear sensor 3, handle sensor 4 and vehicle speed sensor 5 are input to a computer, respectively. Inside an automobile, several kinds of smell storing parts 9 are set. A computer judges operation conditions of the automobile according to the signals detected, and outputs control signals to a smell selector 7 according to the operation conditions detected. An aimed smell is selected with this selector 7 and discharged in the cabin of the automobile. In this case, the storing parts 9 are built in an air conditioner and the like, and fresh air is introduced in the storing parts 9.
