PURPOSE:To improve stability and riding comfort under braking of a vehicle by dividing a knucle supporting a steering wheel into two in an upper and a lower one while combining respective knuckles, the upper and the lower, so as to be soft in front and rear direction, at the same time, rigid in lateral direction. CONSTITUTION:A knuckle 1 is divided into upper and lower knuckles 1A, 1B, and respective outer end portions of an upper and a lower respective suspension arms 2, 3 in the lateral direction of a vehicle are connected to the upper and lower respective knuckles 1A, 1B via ball joints 7, 8 respectively. Again, a spindle 9 extending outward in lateral direction of the vehicle is projected on the upper knuckle 1A, and a steering wheel 10 is attached to the spindle 9 on making the same as the center freely rotatably. Still more, the upper and the lower respective knuckles 1A, 1B are combined together so as to be soft in front and rear direction, at the same time, rigid in lateral direction via a combining means 14 utilizing an elastic member. In this way, together with making braking stability of a vehicle improve, riding comfort under braking is improved. |
