PURPOSE:To perform printing without allowing a large current to flow to a thermal head at once by controlling a printing means according to the speed signal from the moving speed detection means of a printer in a divided state by a plurality of printing control means. CONSTITUTION:When a speed signal 15 is inputted from a speed detection part 11 obtaining a moving speed from the number of rotations of a wheel due to the operation of a handy printer, a control part outputs data 16 and a transmission synchronous clock 17 and the data is latched on the basis of a data latch signal 18 by a driver 9. Thereafter, the control part outputs a trigger signal 22 and a printing signal 23 is sent to a driver by a timer IC 8. The control part outputs the enable signals 19-21 of respective drivers in synchronous relation to the trigger signal 22. By this method, the respective drivers drive thermal heat parts 12, 13, 14 in timings 24-26 to make it possible to realize a three-division type head driving system. Therefore, printing becomes possible without allowing a large current of flow to a thermal head at once. |
