PURPOSE:To reduce draft resistance and enhance air take-in efficiency so as to aim at high static pressure and high air quantity of an automobile air conditioner by providing a hollow damper of polyhedron shape rotatably on a scroll casing surface. CONSTITUTION:A hollow damper 5 of polyhedron shape is rotated in the right and left directions taking a shaft 6 as a supporting point on a scroll casing 1 surface by the driving of a motor 8 in such a way to draw an approximately semicircle locus. When the hollow damper 5 is located at a rotating limit position on the right side, inside air take-in space S1 is opened completely and inside air of an automobile is inhaled from all directions to this space S1 and with the rotation of a fan 2, this inside air passes through a damper opening A and the inlet port 1a of the casing 1 and a passage in the casing 1 and goes out from the outlet port so as to be led to an air-conditioning unit. Next, when the hollow damper 5 is rotated to a rotating limit position on the left side, outside air take-in space S2 is opened and with the rotation of the fan 2, outside air is taken in from this space S2 and passes through an opening B and the casing 1 so as to be led to the air-conditioning unit. |
