In the appts. for assembling the strut-type suspension having a damper (4) and a coil spring (8), the damper is to maintain a supporting member in the first direction, and a frame rotates about the axis perpendicular to the first direction. A hook member (19) holds the coil spring of the suspension and moves in the second direction not parallel to the frame axis. A control member for altering the position of the frame to make the second direction become parallel to the axis of the coil spring. Thus the device can have the coil spring compressed uniformly in the assembling process of the strut-type suspension. |
