<p>The subject of the invention is a device suitable for augers intended for boring into soils and supported, for example, by the raisable drawgear of tractors, comprising a parallelepipedic frame (1), the four vertical aisles of which are formed by uprights (2) extended in their lower part by removable knives (5), in the vicinity of which the uprights (2) are connected to one another by means of horizontal cross-members (3). In the upper (6) and intermediate (7) parts of the uprights (2), spacers (8) aligned with the diagonals of the frame (1) make it possible to hold a vertical support (9) equipped with an axle (10) for the support of the bearing (11) in the upper part and connected in the lower part to a collar (12) gripping the shank (13) of the auger (14). The bearings (11) arranged quadrangularly are gripped between two circular horizontal plates (15) extended in the upper part by a sleeve (16) receiving the square shaft of the auger drive device and in the lower part by a square shaft receiving the sleeve of the butt of the shank of the auger (14), and the identical plates (15) in line with the bearing point of the bearings (11) have corrugations (17) in the form of alternate identical sinusoidal curves, making it possible, during the rotation of the auger (14), to bring about a vertical alternating movement of the frame (1) so as to generate an effect of a ramming and shearing of the soil by the knives (5) to make the squaring of the hole and the penetration of the frame (1) easier. <IMAGE></p> |
