PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a driving mechanism and to prevent a rotary device from having an irregularity in rotation and generating noises, etc., by driving the rotary device directly by using an ultrasonic wave motor. CONSTITUTION:On the end surface of the flange 76 of a rotary body 75 constituting the rotary driving mechanism, the ultrasonic wave motor consisting of piezoelectric ceramic 61, an elastic body 63, a pressing means 66, etc., is formed integrally and an AC voltage is applied to the piezoelectric ceramic 61 of the ultrasonic wave motor. The flange 76 is rotated at a constant speed through the elastic body 63 and a frequency applied to a vibrator is increased or decreased slowly to suppress vibrations of the motor at its start and step. Consequently, the device is obtained which is free from a decrease in driving force transmission efficiency by a gear and the irregularity in the rotation of a drum resulting from the manufacture accuracy of the gear and generates no noises. |
