The design is applicable for tables lifting large loads when actuated by a low-power motor. Since the motor is built-in to the table, remote control is possible. At the same time, the table can be fitted in confined spaces with little clearance around it, while the spring boost eliminates backlash or jerks. The table plate is controlled by levers with bushes moving in rods drawn by springs. The foce is transmitted by the motor through gearing connected to a shaft which winds up the cable attached to the table plate.
