1. Device for compensating transversal thermal deformations of a grate of a combustion furnace or an incinerator comprising at least one row of bars, this device being interposed between this row and a supporting structure or between a pair of parallel longitudinal rows of transversally juxtaposed bars and comprising two elements (1, 2) of transversal thrust, which are movable with respect to each other in the transversal direction, under the effect of a return spring (3) interposed between the two thrust elements (1, 2) and a member for retaining both elements in a position impeding any movement substantially perpendicular to the direction of transversal translation of the elements, characterized in that the thrust elements (1, 2) and the retaining element (4) cooperate at respective edges (5, 5'; 6, 6') with partial overlapping and in that in the released state of the return spring (3), the thrust elements are freed from their retaining member (4) and can be dismounted from the upper side. |
