PURPOSE:To attain communication by an infrared-ray between two units parted by an obstacle by converting a signal sent in an infrared-ray from one unit at a relay section once into an electric signal and transmitting the signal again in infrared-ray. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 22 of a remote control section 2 is provided onto a wall of a room parted by a wall 4 and a door 5 from the front door together with an interphone 21. Transmission and reception units 31, 32 of the relay section 3 are provided respectively onto the face of the wall at the front door side and the remote controller side parting a front door section 1 and the remote control section 2 and interconnected through the harness 33 provided through a gap between the wall 4 and the door 5. The infrared-ray radiated from an infrared-ray receiving and emitting section 22d of the control unit 22 of the remote control section 2 is received by the transmission/reception unit 32 of the relay section 3, sent to the transmission/reception unit 31 via the harness 33, an infrared-ray is projected from an infrared-ray reception/ emission section 31a and received by an infrared-ray reception/emission section 14d of the control unit 14 of the front door section 1. |
