The fixtures on the sign panel are flanges (11-14) formed as hooks extending along the complete length of the panel upper and lower edges. The column fixtures (15-17) comprise a U-shaped stirrup (19), the free ends of which form hook-shaped projections (22,23). In the bottom part (20) of the stirrup is a tension screw (24) for clamping the stirrup onto the column after the stirrup hook-shaped projection has engaged a hook-shaped flange on the sign panel. The tension screw has a draw plate (25) on its inside. This enables the plate to draw the stirrup out from the column for retention of the sign panel (10) when the tension screw is tightened. |
