PURPOSE:To suppress the bending vibration by suppressing the revolution imbalance of a crankshaft by installing the balance weight for the crankshaft at the shaft edge projecting from a cylinder block through a rubber, in a reciprocation type internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A timing gear cover 2 is installed on the side surface of a cylinder block, and a timing gear 3 is installed on a crankshaft 1. A balance damper 4 and a torsional damper 5 are constituted by installing the balance weights 10 and 10' on the crankshaft 1 through runners 9 and 9', permitting a relative movement. Therefore, the balance weight 10 reduces the revolution imbalance, and the bending vibration of the crankshaft 1 can be suppressed by an elastic deformation in the turning direction of the damper rubber 9. |
