The invention relates to electric-fencing lines in the form of cabled or braided cord or even in the form of ribbons or of a sheath and are produced by cabling, braiding, knitting, crocheting or weaving based on preferably synthetic fibres and wires of at least two metals, one providing, by virtue of its properties, a high resistance of the electricity-conducting system to the mechanical loads and to corrosion, the other metal chosen for its good conductivity, ensuring that the electric current is carried over long distances. These electric-fencing lines may be produced in the form of a net; these electric-fencing lines are particularly intended for enclosing animals or for protecting from theft. <IMAGE>
