PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal noise of a polyurethane foam cushion, by a method wherein at least either mold release agent or silicone is applied to at least a part of the rear of the cushion, against which a steel material such as a spring, frame and pipe abut after molding of a polyurethane foam. CONSTITUTION:A polyurethane foam stock solution is foamed by casting the same into a molding mold and a polyurethane foam 1 having a protrusion 1a on a surface side is obtained. A mold release agent 3 is applied to a part of the rear of a polyurethane foam 1 against which a frame 2 abuts and a polyurethane foam cushion 5 is obtained by abutting the frame 2 supported by a supporting member 4 against an applied part. The mold release agent and silicone or a matter obtained by mixing up the mold release agent and silicone with each other are mentioned as an applying matter to a part against which a steel material such as a frame pipe abuts. As the mold release agent 3 is applied to a part of the rear of the polyurethane foam 1, against which the frame 2 abuts, frictional resistance between the back of the polyurethane foam 1 and frame 2 can be mitigated remarkably and abnormal noise can be prevented. |
