PURPOSE:To reproduce a stereoscopic image at low cost and in a narrow space by providing the two systems of image input terminals, and obtaining it as the six-tube type (two systems respectively in R, G and B) of a video projector and switching the RGB output of an upper step as an image output for left eye and the RGB output of a lower step as the image output for right eye. CONSTITUTION:When the stereoscopic image is reproduced, the image signal for left eye is inputted to an image input terminal 11 and the image signal for right eye is inputted to an image input terminal 12, for example. A switching circuit 13 outputs an input signal as it is. A video projector 14 respectively outputs the image for left eye to the RGB output of the upper step and the image for right eye to the RGB output of the lower step. Further, the RGB outputs of the images for left eye and right eye are respectively passed through horizontal and vertical interruption deflecting filters 15 and 16 and projected on a screen 17. Since an observer uses the glass of a horizontal interruption deflecting filter for left eye and a vertical interruption deflecting filter for right eye, the image for left eye is observed only by a left eye and the image for right eye is observed only by a right eye. Then, a stereoscopic effect can be obtained. |
