PURPOSE:To obtain a dried OKARA (bean curd fuse) having uniform quality and stability without causing unevenness in drying and free from scorching, by uniformly sprinkling wet OKARA into a heat gas steam and drying the OKARA. CONSTITUTION:Air 5 for combustion and fuel 6 are fed into a hot air generating oven 7 to generate hot gas preferably heated at 350-750 deg.C. On the one hand, a drier 9 is revolved at 2-20rpm and simultaneously pressure of dried OKARA discharge duct 18 part is reduced to prescribed pressure. Then the wet OKARA 1 is fed through a feeder, vibrating sieve 3 into a raw material feed tube 9 of the drier 9. Then the wet OKARA fed 24 to a disperse part 2b is uniformly sprinkled into a hot gas stream introduced 27 according to the rotation of dispersing plate 25. OKARA lightened by evaporation of water content is sent together with the hot air through the inner cylinder 22 to the downstream side and further is lifted up upward with a comb up plate 23 by revolution of drier 9. Further when the OKARA lifted up is dropped, the OKARA is brought into contact with the hot gas and carried to downstream side by flow rate of the hot gas, successively sent into inside cylinder 21 and outer cylinder 20 and the above-mentioned process is repeated to dry OKARA. |
