PURPOSE:To obtain sublimation-type thermal transfer image receiving paper having an excellent release property, securing a high printing density and a high picture quality and being superior in a keeping property, by a method wherein a releasing layer provided in and/or on a dye-setting layer is made to contain a substance reacting with a silane coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:In sublimation-type thermal transfer image receiving paper wherein a dye-setting layer setting a subliming sublimation-type dye is laminated on the surface of a base, a releasing layer provided in and/or on a dye-setting layer is made to contain a substance reacting with a silane coupling agent. The silane coupling agent may be contained, together with a compound reacting therewith, in the dye-setting layer or the releasing layer provided on the dye- setting layer, and also may be contained in both the dye-setting layer and the releasing layer. It is also possible to use a plurality of silane coupling agents together. Moreover, it is also possible to add a sliding substance so as to improve a sliding property. By making the silane coupling agent be contained, the image receiving paper securing a high printing density and a high picture quality and being superior in a preservability can be obtained. |
