PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the exchange of plate frames which must have been exchanged, and to improve operating efficiency by interposing a masking material having an opening in size and a shape corresponding to the printing applying range of an article to be printed between the plate frame and the article to be printed. CONSTITUTION:A masking material 3 having an opening in size and a shape corresponding to a printing applying range in an article to be printed W is interposed between a plate frame S and the article to be printed W. Printing applying by a coating material is not conducted to a section masked by the masking material 3 at the time of printing by the travelling of a squeegee 1 on the plate frame S. Consequently, since a non-printing applying range in the article to be printed W is masked by the masking material 3, the coating material is not applied up to an unnecessary section. The size and shape of the opening in the masking material 3 may be altered regarding the non-printing applying range. Accordingly, the plate frames S which must have been exchanged need not be exchanged, thus improving operating efficiency. |
