<p>PURPOSE:To enable simple forward fall of a seat back from the truck room side, by a method wherein a second lock device formed with a slidable and rotatable slide pin capable of locking is mounted to the back frame panel of a truck-through type seat. CONSTITUTION:A first lock device 8 capable of being locked to a striker 12 protruded from a back frame panel 7 is provided at the seat back of the rear seat of a passenger car. A rear seat is capable of falling forward, a cargo can be placed in and out between the rear seat and a trunk room, and so-called trunk-through is formed. A second lock device 9 formed with a slidable and rotatable slide pin 38 capable of locking is mounted to the back frame panel 7 by means of a knob 30, and a first lock device 8 and the striker 12 are forced into a state to be released from engagement with each other by means of a rod 37 of the tip part of the slide pin 38. Simple forward fall of the trunk- through seat back from the trunk room side is practicable.</p> |
