<p>PURPOSE:To attain the continuous translation processing of plural original files by collectively specifying one or more original files to be translated out of original files stored in a storage device. CONSTITUTION:A previously specified original file out of plural original files stored in an external storage device 8 is transferred from the device 8 to a main memory 3 under the control of a CPU 2 and the source language of one sentence in the original file is sent to a translation module 4. The module 4 translates the source language inputted by means of dictionaries and grammatical rules stored in the memory 5 into a target language. The translated result is temporarily stored in the memory 3 and displayed on the screen of a display device 6. Then, a file name list of the original files stored in the device 8 is displayed on the display device 6. The original files to be translated are collectively specified by the operation of the keyboard 7 on the basis of the display.</p> |
