摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a good engine brake feeling by adjusting belt pressing force in a drive pulley side to a value lower than in the time of engine drive by a brake fluid pressure control means when an engine brake is detected acting. CONSTITUTION:In the time of select from a range of high speed change ratio to a range of low speed change ratio and in the time of rapidly detaching a foot from an accelerator pedal and so on, when the action of an engine brake is detected by a detecting means 6, an instruction of adjusting belt pressing force in the side of a drive pulley 1 to a value lower than in the time of engine drive is output to an actuator 4 from a pulley fluid pressure control means 5. By this belt pressing force reduction control, the pressing force by centrifugal oil pressure in the side of the drive pulley 1 is negated, and a speed of speed change ratio changing to a reduction side is advanced. Thus after ensuring the proper belt pressing force in the time of engine drive, in the time of the engine brake acting, a preferable engine brake feeling can be obtained being accompanied with the generation of early gravitational acceleration in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle and an increase in engine speed.</p>
