<p>PURPOSE:To prevent remarkable reduction of treatment efficiency even during winter time by arranging a filter material in a plurality of segments of an aerophobic treatment chamber and using a mixed cultured variety of a propionic acid decomposing bacterium and a low temperature methane bacterium as seed bacteria for the filter material. CONSTITUTION:Raw water is pumped up by a pump into a measuring tank 2 and then is measured. After this, a fixed amount of the raw water is charged into a raw water induction chamber 3. This effluent water runs, as indicated by an arrow, through an aperture at the bottom of a bulkhead 4, passing through the first and second aerophobic treatment chambers 7, 8, and then the first - third treated water storage chambers 11, 13, 15 respectively, as shown by an arrow for treatment. The treated water is discharged outside a fermentation tank, passing through a discharge pipe 17. At that time, in the first aerophobic treatment chamber 7, organisms in the influent water are turned to low molecules by action of a propionic acid decomposing bacterium. In addition, the organisms in the form of low molecules are decomposed by the action of a low temperature methane bacterium as a filter material. Thus the water is purified.</p> |
