The clamp is for securing a vertical anode rod to a horizontal bus-bar of an electrolysis installation in the prodn. of aluminium. There are two relatively hingeable levers and two projecting trunnions supporting them, on hooks bolted to the bus bar. The levers are hingeably adjusted w.r.t. each other by a worm threaded bolt and a single nut. The levers are made as castings both provided with cylindrical segments forming rotating surfacesmaking hinging possible without a separate material hinge shaft. One of the castings has a cam-part which grippingly contacts the curved inner rotating surface of the other casting.
