PURPOSE:To extract a microbially produced insoluble protein from a microbial cell in high efficiency, by disintegrating a microorganism in a buffer solution containing a hydrophilic organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism (e.g., E.coli) containing an insoluble protein (e.g., urokinase-precursor protein) is disintegrated in a buffer solution containing a hydrophilic organic solvent (e.g., ethanol). |
