Extraction of phosphorus from slime - by treating heated slime with surfactant and/or poly:amphoteric electrolyte

Extracting phosphorous from slime comprises heating the slime with an organic reagent selected from a surfactant, and/or a polyamphoteric electrolyte. The surfactant used is pref. made of hydroxyethylated alkyl phenol in an amt. of 0.5-10 g/ton of slime or partially neutralised fatty acids in an amt. of 0.5-10% of the slime mass. The polyamphoteric electrolyte used is made of the prod. of partial hydrolysis of polyacrylonitrile in an amt. of 10-100 g/ton of slime. The organic reagent is also made of a mixt. of hydroxyethylated alkylphenol and the prod. of partial hydrolysis of polyacrylontrile in a mass ratio of 1:3-100.
