The grain size of coal for producing cokes is controlled with three classes: (1) 2mm class, above 28% TI and above 10% variation range of TI by grain size; (2) 3mm class, below 28% TI, below 2.5 L-MF and above 10% variation range of TI by size; and (3) 4-5mm class, below 28% TI, above 2.5 L-MF and below 10% variation range of TI by size. TI=inactive component; L-MF=fluidity.
