In the drawing, E is the inlet for the gas mixt. to be treated, S1 is the outlet for the less magnetic gases, S2 is the outlet for the more magnetic gases, which are concentrated in the porous magnetic material, from where they are extracted, in amt. which increases with the magnetic field and the gas pressure. Continuous operation is not possible, since the porous material attracts equally the molecules which arrive and those which move away. (0/1)
