The invention relates to a bed frame 1 with a head section 2 pivotably fixed to the frame and with a head support 4 also pivotably fixed to the head section.
<??>A raising lever 6, supporting from beneath the frame of the head section, is provided on each longitudinal side of the bed frame 1 so that the head section 2 can pivot upwards. A hinge lug 10 is hinged to each raising lever 6 so that the head support 4 can pivot upwards, the other end of the lug being hinged to a respective pivoting lever 11 hinged to the frame of the head section and supporting from beneath the frame of the head support. The common pivoting axis 8 of the raising levers 6 is offset in relation to the pivoting axis 3 of the head section 2.
<??>Such a construction uses easily manufactured parts. The manipulation of the bed frame by the user is very simple.
