<p>PURPOSE:To perform packet transfer with high quality and to lower a rejection ratio by destroying a packet based on the presence/absence of the reception of a normal packet reception signal. CONSTITUTION:At a transmission side, the packet is stored in the storage means of a packet switching machine once. And a stored packet is transmitted to a first means at a reception side via a self-routing type switching circuit network. The first means decides whether or not a received packet is normal, and when it is normal, it returns the normal packet reception signal representing the fact to the transmission side on the same path in a reverse direction as the transmission path of the self-routing type switching circuit network. A second means at the transmission side detects whether or not the packet transferred to the reception side is delivered normally according to the presence/ absence of the reception of the normal packet reception signal from the first means. Also, the second means destroys the packet stored in the storage means when the packet transferred to the reception side is delivered normally, and transmits the packet to be stored at the next cycle, and when no packet is delivered, it controls the storage means as to transmit the packet to the reception side again.</p> |
