The invention relates to an implant for repositioning and stabilisation of bones (internal fixator). Known implants of this type do not guarantee satisfactory stability, require high surgical complexity and cannot be sufficiently flexibly adapted to the various conditions of use. In particular, with the known implants it is impossible to position and support a bridged bone fragment in a direction perpendicular to the main direction of the implant. The invention solves this problem in that the connecting element of the implant has a supporting device between its terminal regions, the supporting device resting against a bone fragment bridged by the connecting element in the implanted state.
