<p>A passenger seat for use as a front seat in a motor vehicle is highly rigid and provides a space beneath a seat cushion for allowing a rear seat passenger to put front foot ends therein. The passenger seat has a seat frame comprising a main frame having a pair of beams disposed on opposite rear side thereof and extending rearwardly, and a substantially U-shaped opening defined in a rear central portion thereof and opening rearwardly, and a reinforcing frame interconnecting rear ends of the beams.</p> |
