The invention relates to a process and a casting mould for the manufacture of crown candles. In this process first a candle blank is cast in the casting mould and is separated from the casting mould after solidifying for the final processing of the shape. According to the process the blank is cast in a casting mould, the lower end of which blank has the shape of a crown base part, and in the final processing of the separated blank the end thereof opposite to the crown base part is processed to a point. The casting mould, which is an additional subject of the invention, generally has a somewhat conical lateral surface (1) and the lower part (2) of the casting mould has the shape of a crown base part. <IMAGE> |
