(Meth)-acrylates of siloxanes containing tricyclodecane groups

New (meth)-acrylates of siloxanes containing tricyclodecane groups having the formula <IMAGE> are prepared by reacting poly(hydroxymethyl-tricyclo [5.2.1.02.6]decanyl)siloxanes, or the alkylene oxide adducts thereof with (meth)acrylic acid or a derivative thereof or with an isocyanato (meth)acrylate. These compounds can be employed as monomers to prepare polymers and dental materials.
