<p>An irreversible free wheeling clutch arrangement having a hollow housing member for rotatably supporting an input driveshaft and an output driven shaft. A one-way transmission mechanism including a plurality of roller bearings caged between a plurality of arcuate segments formed on the input shaft and cooperatively associated with a multi-faced contact member carried by the output shaft so that rotary movement of the input shaft is transferred to the output shaft but attempted rotary movement of the output shaft is not transferred to the input shaft.</p> |
